Seven Spires will release their fourth studio album, titled “A Fortress Called Home”, on June 21st, 2024, via Frontiers Music srl. The highly-anticipated follow-up to “Gods of Debauchery” (2021) takes their signature blend of symphonic, power and extreme metal to new heights, and drags the listener to the deepest abysses in the process. “A Fortress Called Home” was produced, mixed, and mastered by guitarist Jack Kosto. Frontwoman Adrienne Cowan comments: “I visited the void twice while writing this album. I don’t know which begat the other. It’s ugly. I love it and I hate it, and I think it’s our best work yet.”
Seven Spires’ 2024 touring schedule includes a European tour with Skálmöld and Atavistia in March, four North American shows as direct support for Kamelot with Ad Infinitum in April, a headline set at Mile High Power Fest in Denver, CO, in August, and their first-ever headlining Japanese tour with Lords of the Trident in December.
If you’ve been journeying with Spires, then you may know our song “Ghost of Yesterday” already. Now we are pleased and proud to announce it officially as the first single off our new live album, all recorded at PPUSA in 2022!
ProgPower USA is a very special festival for us as a band, and has been for quite some years. The story goes that back in 2017, some of us were attending the festival as fans, and during the first day of performances, we received word from the promoters that there had been an unfortunate last-minute cancellation and that since half of us were already there, Seven Spires would be a great emergency replacement. The catch was: we only had a couple of hours to decide and make all of the necessary arrangements for a performance taking place in 48 hours! After many frantic phone calls, logistical planning, and a lot of packing, the rest of the band, their instruments, our stage scrims, and all of the merch they could carry were on their way to Atlanta, while those already on the ground had to track down instruments and some gear to use, as none of us thought we’d be performing that weekend.
With much help and support from Glenn, Milton, and all of the rest of the always fantastic crew for the festival, the show went fantastically, and we instantly felt a very special bond with the PPUSA crowd, who welcomed us with open arms despite the last-minute change of schedule.
Fast forward to now, and we’re beyond thrilled to have been invited back to Center Stage (this time with some more heads-up) and to have been able to revel in that special exchange of shared love for metal music once again. It was also an unexpected bonus to have been able to have the night recorded, and we’re so thrilled for anyone, anywhere to be able to relive that night over and over again to their hearts’ content!
The entire “Live at ProgPower USA XXI” album is available for pre-order now, and “Ghost of Yesterday” is available on all major streaming platforms! Thank you to everyone sharing this amazing news with us, and look forward to more updates in the near future!
We are overjoyed that the album is finally released. Check it out anywhere you listen to music, and let us know which songs you're most looking forward to seeing live in the future!
We can't thank you all enough for supporting us through the years, especially through these last two difficult ones. Thank you for the love, thank you for believing in us, and thank you especially to everyone that was involved in the process of making this album, the music videos, and the releases.
We miss you, we love you, and we can't wait to see you again!
We’re incredibly pleased today to announce our third full-length album, “Gods of Debauchery”, as well as present you with the music video for the title track!
GODS OF DEBAUCHERY COMING SEPTEMBER 10, 2021 VIA FRONTIERS MUSIC SRL
FIRST SINGLE & VIDEO, THE TITLE TRACK, OUT TODAY
Coming off their critically praised sophomore album, "Emerald Seas", Seven Spires are set to return with their third, and by far, most ambitious album to date, "Gods Of Debauchery" on September 10, 2021. Today, fans can get their first listen to new music with the release of the single and video for the title track.
"Gods Of Debauchery" offers an incredible feast of music styles within the broad tent of heavy metal. From symphonic to progressive to black to death metal influences, coupled with emotional ballads, this record is an exquisite sonic and lyrical journey for the discerning metalhead. This band is the present and the future of the genre and continues Frontiers' tradition of identifying and signing the most promising young talents.
After the release of "Emerald Seas" in February of 2020, the band had multiple amazing support slots lined up to promote the record on the road. They were geared up and in fighting form, ready to bring their music to the masses and show the world what they are all about. Plans were quickly changed weeks after the album's release due to the coronavirus pandemic though and soon it became obvious that touring would be ground to a halt for a while. So, the band took the opportunity to commence work on their follow-up album, which wound up becoming the mammoth 70+ minute masterpiece that is "Gods Of Debauchery". This album, epic in scope and reach, shows progression well beyond their years.
Our brand new single, “The Cursed Muse”, is out today!
Listen HERE: https://orcd.co/cursedmuse
"The Cursed Muse” is the reintroduction of our exhausted hero from the previous two albums. Haunted by demons of the past, this sea-captain-turned-psychopomp contemplates their future: a lonesome eternity riddled with regret, resentment, and the crushing belief that they do not deserve happiness.

From our label Frontiers Music srl:
The single serves as an appetizer for the forthcoming epic new studio album from the band, due this fall. More details on that forthcoming in the weeks ahead.
Seven Spires is an American metal quartet specializing in melancholic tales and tenebrous grandeur. Part bittersweet melodic metal anthems, part apocalyptic melodic death and black metal, and part Romantic Classical poets, they are storytellers who draw from across the traditional spectrum of metal and beyond to weave tragedies of demons, death, love, and the peculiarities of human condition. The band met while studying at the world renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, so we need not spend much time going on about their musical capabilities, but needless to say, the band’s musicianship is in keeping with the metal tradition of tireless work to be the best at your craft.
The band’s sophomore album, “Emerald Seas", released in February 2020, was a highly emotional, dark, and theatrical listening experience. The band, as with their debut, collaborated with Sascha Paeth (Avantasia, Kamelot, Epica, etc), who mixed and mastered the album.

NEW SINGLE: "Stay", the first song of the second act of our new album "Solveig". In the storyline, it's the first time we see the Demon character displaying the ability to care – a first glimpse at a more human side, perhaps. Ironically, this song also marks the first distinct appearance of Adrienne's extreme vocals in Spires.
It's a thrill to bring to you "The Cabaret of Dreams" OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO! Filmed by the delightful EmVision in various locations in MA, this is the first video from our coming album, "Solveig".
Also on our YouTube Channel, there are a bunch of interviews with the band as well as with Adrienne talking about the background of the EP, the Spires project, and more.
